GREEN PACKING - FEDERAL GUIDELINES

FEDERAL GUIDELINES FOR PACKING MATERIALS 2006.

Protection of goods shipped is enhanced by using bulk cushioning materials on all sides and corners of the product.

Here to for common protection of shipped items was obtained from oil based plastic materials including styrofoam, Poly sheet,PE, Foam Sheet,Bubble,Sealed air in Plastic (aka peanuts) and Roll Foam.

All oil based products listed above are most difficult to process in our landfills. They wind up in our lakes, and parks and seem to never go away. For this reason the federal government mandated that packaging with easy to recycle packing be used in shipments destined to their receiving docks.

The spirit of this mandate is that we seek packing that is easy to recycle. In that effort Indoff is marketing a perfect machine to use. See our model IND-CBP-20, that takes cardboard sheets up to 3/4" TK x 36" wide and processes it to an extremely flexible and excelent cushioning product for packing. The process expands the sheet to nearly double the origional sheet thickness for excellent product protection. Cardboard is recycleable and a ,GREEN' product.

Packing with used or new cardboard sheets processed in the Ind-CBP-20 Cardboard Perforator is an extremely low material cost and low process cost ( a single pass is all that is required to perforate any cardboard sheet up to 3/4" TK) way to obtain packing.

We are currently being "held-up" by the price of oil. It shows up in the price of PVC,stryrofoam and PE packing. Their prices seem to go up weekly.

Processing your own packing with normally a recycled product is smart business now and especially in the future. Being a GREEN company is good for you and for America.

Call me on this product now. I will be happy to work with you. I want to help you solve the high cost of packing problem.
